Did you re-blue some of the parts? Also does the elevator S/N match the rifle? If I'm seeing it right in that one pic it is notched in the rear corner of the floor plate which I believe shows it's for...

Wes yes I reblued some of the parts and the barrel and receiver , and the s/n seem to match and yes there is a notched in the rear corner of the floor plate , but its a 78/81 NORM

Don't know the significances of the notch just that it shows up on the older elevators. I'll have to say, your more adventurous than me when it comes to a sporter in that shape.

drilled a hole in the striker , silver soldered the drill bit to it trimmed the the firing pin back this is in fired position this is the 4th I have done this way NORM
